It then disables the built-in OSX firewall, prevents Apple updates and disables accounting applications. It can also turn on services and gathers detailed user information pasword hashes, user name from netinfo, keychain files and system configuration information. It also modifies limewire settings, deletes log files, creates an additional admin user, creates cron jobs and more. It also connects to the infernet to download hacktools such as John The Ripper and Dsniff. This worm propagates by dropping a copy of itself to shared folders. |
